bouncing fun

Since rain had canceled 2 tball practices this past week it was time to get out and play so we invited our friends to join us at Bounce U Friday morning! Cant beat it!

snack this time was cupcakes! I wanted one so bad so my excuse was to feed some to Evelyn and eat what was leftover! LOL Worked out perfect as she loved it (and I think I scored some points with her) and I got a yummy cupcake!

We topped it off with lunch at Toot's then a much needed nap!

Birthday fun

More Granny spent the night with Granny and Pappy so on Sunday she joined them for church (which I missed because of a photo shoot!) but I made it back in time for lunch!

So mexican food it was and of course she had to wear the ceremonial sombrero and get whip cream smeared on her face!

Matt thought it was funny and while she was getting whip cream on her face he snuck in got the spoon and started eating it!

Abbye's 1st rodeo

Saturday we had some things to get done that morning and Jeff went to play football in the rain with friends but that afternoon we headed to Decaturville TN to see Abbye ride in her 1st rodeo.

The drive out was nice. It was rainy and drizzly but a real pretty scenic drive. We got there for the last couple events of the 1st session and then a couple hour intermission before the second session.

Aunt Connie got a little muddy

The family huddled up around the propane heater like hobos watching the tractor drag the dirt before abbye's run

Abbye and Buttermilk on their 2nd and final run of the day!

Laser Tag

Friday was our sorority social event for March. We had a couples night out playing laser tag. There were quite a few who couldnt make it unfortunately but those who went had a blast.

We got a group babysitter and took the kids over to Christy's. The boys have fun playing so it's good for them every now and then to hang out! Then we headed out to see what laser tag is all about. None of us had ever been so we had no idea what to expect.

Suiting up for our 1st mission

The 1st game, the 6 of us were the red team and there were 6 teenage girls who were the blue team. So we were the oldies vs the youngies. Of course we won! LOL

The 2nd game there was a huge group of kids like 7-9 yrs old who got the blue team and us and a few parents got the red team again.

Our 3rd mission we were the blue team against some teen boys and that game wasnt fun at all! needless to say we lost!

Our last mission we got red again and played with a bunch of teens again but we kicked butt again!

It was so much fun and such a workout to spend 20 minutes in the arena running around shooting people and trying to not get shot!

Afterwards it was off to Buffalo Wild Wings for a snack and conversation. I know I laughed so darn hard my face hurt! So much fun!
