Tues, Wed, Thurs and Friday and so ends the month of April

Tuesday was another work/school day. Oz woke up and was still moving a little slow but he ate a little quicker. He layed down to eat which was quite humorous! Matthew had a pizza party at school so he was excited to go that morning!

Wednesday was stay at home day! Hehehe we love those kind of days! (well it was after i got home from my early morning workout!) Matt woke up got dressed and was being so silly! He put on Jeff's shoes and kept saying "I look like dad!"


He stood like this listening and dancing to his alphabet and barn songs for the longest time!

we got matt's new carseat in and after getting it fitted to him we put it in the car and he tried it out! he loves his new "red big boy carseat!"


instead of going to puppy class wed night, oz stayed home for another night of rest and jeff went with us to supper and then church!


Thursday was school and work again and Matt has field day at school. He got to take his tricycle with him, and they had a bouncy castle, and a huge water slide to play on! He had a blast! And it was perfect warm weather to be outside playing in the water! After school we came home and spent the evening outside!

Friday morning after returning from my workout, Jeff and I were outside and out walks Matthew. He had on his jammies (an old onesie that no longer fits which is actually a size 6-12 months and some spongebob boxers and Jeffs shoes)! It was too cute when he comes walking out the back door!

we got some house stuff done then made a trip to town to go to wal mart. And boy was Matt being a handful! He was whining at the checkout telling me to go back and get his thomas the train toy for him. Then we had to run to the other wal mart to look for ponchos then when they were out we went to dicks sporting goods and finally found some! And for lunch we went to the "chicken place with slide" aka Chick-Fil-A! It was against my better judgment given the mood he had been in but what the heck. And I must say that he was really really good. He played until food was ready and came to sit down and eat all his lunch then back to play. Of course he has outsmarted me again. When I say only a couple more times down the slide he negotiates to five more times. Which would be fine but the little turd just goes to the top of the play area and plays and never goes down the slide! He sat up there playing for a half hour then comes down the slide and says that that is only his 1st time. he has 4 more to go! Man is this kid slick!

Of course more outside play when we got home since it was nice and warm out!


























It's kind of crazy that this ends the month of April. This year is on a roll!

starting off the week

Monday was a long day! Whew! It started with an early morning cancelled walk! Since we walk outside we wont walk in the rain but when I woke up and left the house it was dry and nothing on the radar. I get to town to meet the group and it starts to sprinkle. Oh just great! Our trainer officially cancelled the walk but a few of us choose to stay and get our walk in on the indoor track! It was quite a bit different than being outdoors. I was actually very bored! I know that sounds horrible but it is a mini track and 16 laps are equal to a mile so if you go to fast in the little circle you just might get dizzy! Unfortunately Christy was still having knee issues and couldn't make it so I cranked up the ipod and got in a few miles. Figured why not since I was already there! By the time I walked out of the building to head home, the sun was shining!

Matt was still asleep when I got home so Granny and her company (Aunt Karen and more granny) came over to hang out while i ran oz up to the vet. he was scheduled to get neutered. Poor thing.

Matt woke up in a great mood and we played and laughed and then made our way to speech. but oddly enough, when we get there he kind of shuts down. And this was the worst. he closed his eyes and refused to look at the speech ladies. he wouldn't get in his seat. he was just awful. i left the room and he screamed. he sat still for me to come back in but refused to do any work. then he began to throw things on the floor. after he was told not to do it again he sat in quite for a bit, refusing to repeat any sounds then grabbed a handful of pieces looked at the speech lady with a glare kind of smirked and threw it all on the ground. she got him on the floor to pick them up but he kept telling her no.

he was just in a mood. he then would say a couple words that they asked of him but would quickly shut down again. so finally the hour was over. he said good bye and was off down the hall. at next glance, he was gone. usually he waits for me at the big door but not this time. i get there and he is nowhere. i check out side and he aint out there either. so i go back in and have to try to find him. i get to the 1st hall and here him hollering "mom mom mom". the little turd was in the bathroom! he said he had to go! LOL

Then from that point on he was back to his good mood like nothing had happened. We met Granny, Aunt Karen and More Granny for lunch again and he was in a great mood! So whatever it was about speech, he just wasn't having any of it that day!

That afternoon we went to get oz. he was much slower than he was that morning. he ate a little when we got home and of course that make him sick and throw up but after that he acted much better!

And without much more excitement, our Monday came to a close!

the remainder of the week

Wednesday sure seemed like a long day! was up super early and out the door at 5:20am after not getting to bed until 2am. Wow that 2 1/2 miles sure did seem to be never ending. And oddly enough we ran more that day than any other and was 4 minutes faster then previous days! Go us! Matt and I did go do some stuff up at church then lunch with granny. Before too long it was time for us to go to church and Jeff and Oz to head to their next session of puppy training.

Thursday Matt went to school while I got caught up on some school work and house work. When I went to get him from school I was informed that he had been in time out that day. Apparently he had been in his 1st fight. Him and another little boy wanted the same toy and they started pushing each other and both got a slap in before the teacher put them both in time out. It's kind of hard to be upset with him for finally standing up for him self rather than just standing back crying.

That evening we took Granny and Pappy to Nashville for another Preds playoff game.

Since we took the shuttle to the arena cause it was sprinkling we were going to ride it back but the line was long so we just walked.

Friday morning was yet another early morning jog after a few hours sleep. But it was a nice morning to be out. Then Matthew and I had a lazy day hanging out at home. We got some stuff done and some plans made and played out side alot!

Tuesday was work and school day but after picking Matthew up we headed to the Discovery Center to play for a little bit and meet some other friends there.

We checked out the meet the critter show and the animal was their hedgehog. I wasn't quite sure how Matt would be with it but he wanted to see it so we went in. Here he is petting her. She is an albino hedgehog named Toothpick

Then we headed home and it was over to Granny and Pappy's for Matt while Jeff and I went to the hockey game. It was the 1st home playoff game of the series and we got low tickets, right behind the bench again so didn't want to take Matthew.

It was such a fun game. A completely different atmosphere than normal. The crowd was into it, the team was much more aggressive, the refs allowed a little more fighting on the ice. It was awesome!!
