a fine start to the week

We kicked off our week with a flood in the playroom! Oh what fun that was. Turn out that the pipe going into the water heater from the main water supply had a broken connection and water was just streaming down the pipe. Jeff stayed home and got it fixed and we spent the day cleaning it up. After sucking tons of water up we decided to cut out a huge section of carpeting. It was soaked and there was standing water under it so there is no way we would have got that up. We got it all put back and now will be in search of a rug!

Matt was quite the contrary little cuss during speech. They would say "these are pants" he would say "no they not". They would tell him to say "good luck" and he would say "no i say bad luck". So at least we know he is working on his arguing skills! It was a good visit all in all as he did say several things that they hadn't heard from him yet!

Then it was home to play ball, find a nest of seed ticks, spread bug stuff all over and water the yard. Then it was time to go to yet another session of swimming lessons!

This time, before class, him and Henry played by themselves on the shallow ramp!


They both practiced doing their bobbing under water. Henry is watching Matt do his turn.


Then it was time for class to start








When we got home we found dad playing with Uncle J's tractor! seems he was bringing some dirt over and leveling the driveway gravel. (i think he was just playing! hehehe)
