1st game of the season

So after the hype of opening day, Monday night came and it was time to play our first game!
Dad had the day off so we worked like bees all day getting stuff done then it was time to hit the field.  First the guys had to drag the field.  Matt thought he was big stuff out there with dad.

And Si just hung out watching!

Then game on!

Game over – We lost this first game but it was a great night and the kids all had fun.

And just like that, the season has begun!  Here is to a great time on the field Lugnuts!

Opening Day at the ball field

To kick off the season we had an opening day at the ball field.  We started with introducing all the teams!
Here are our wild Lugnuts!

See what happens when they can pick their own number…#99 only because #100 wouldnt fit.  And he wasnt the only kid who asked for 100 either!

Cheesing with a friend from school
Swinging in the home run contest!  He hit all 10 pitches off a pitcher he has never had and was in first place by far until the winner just barely had one roll past his!  So so proud!

Dad and his boys

Sharing snowcones…I think this was #2 of 4 for the day!

Our attempts at a family pic! It doesnt get much better!

Love #99

And before we were even done little man was fast asleep!
After some lunch it was home to relax.  Dad worked on his trailer while the kids played and I enjoyed laying in the yard trying some foot hooping.
Ohhhh a truck full of dirty water….why yes I will play with it

Relaxing in the shade

Trying to get the hang of blowing dandelions – mud courtesy of the aforementioned truck of water!

I love this face!

Hard workers!

And why not head to the front yard and cheer brother on as he learns to ride without training wheels!

Here he goes for the 1st time!

And before long he had the hang of it!  Our big boy is growing up!
