1st WIN of the season!

Thursday nights game was a good one.  The boys played really good and got their first win of the season!

Bus Rider

Matt has been wanting to try riding the bus so on today he did.  1st time ever riding the bus home from school!

1st game of the season

Monday night was the Lugnuts first game of the season!  These boys were looking sharp and played a great couple first innings in the rain!  They were ahead but then had a couple not so great last innings and ended up on the losing side but they really had a great time. 
Matt at 2nd.  He even caught a line drive right to him!  It surprised him as much as it did us!  Even though later at supper he said he knew it was coming to him by how early the batter swung.

While he wasnt thrilled to not get a trophy I think considering we have never even seen a derby car race that we managed to do pretty darn good!  I was thrilled the car actually rolled!  And we were able to help out our friends with wheels and weights and everyone had a fun time watching their cars fly down the track.
