Saturday afternoon we headed to Honeysuckle Hill Farms, N of Nashville, to spend the afternoon! It was our October sorority social. Nothing says fall like a family outing to the patch. Jeff went back to work after the run so it was just me and the boys and we met up with Jenn and Benny, Suzi with RJ and Xander and Becky.
Matt ran to check out the Monster Rippler slide when we first arrived
Jenn and Benny on the seesaw
Silas glad to be free to roam around!
Checking out the hay maze. It was dark so they needed a flashlight!
A view from the play area of the corn maze and zip line towers
A big sand play area
Dont leave me out guys! I will make it in
Xander, Matthew, RJ and Si playing in the dirt
Becky and Jenn
Looking at the bunnies – Silas, Becky and Benny
Mad face Matt
Fake smile Matt
Checking out the three little piggies
Corn maze time – even though we didnt go through it just grazed the outer edge!
Benny
The corn popper was a hit!
Xander couldnt make it up so Suzi had to jump with him!
We sent the boys on the pumpkin train!
Snack time
Matt was so excited to get hot chocolate like the others!
The rat race was an area with these tube sections that you climb in and dun like a hamster wheel!
Then it was time for a hayride to pick our pumpkins from the patch
A quick climb on the tire mountain and we were ready to head home!
Well one last jump on the rope spider web for Matt
And one last picture of course!
What a great afternoon spent enjoying the boys and the outdoors! A gorgeous drive to Springfield and a quiet drive home with both my boys asleep! We came home to dad cooking a pot of chili and it was the best way to end the day spent in the cold air!
