Friday we did some running around. Made a trip to Madison to look at some macaws that mom was buying and would be picking up on her way back to TX. It was really fun because the lady we went to visit is an ex-zookeeper and has the neatest facility! After we got back we just hung out and visited.

The puppies got better acquainted. It may look like they were fighting but they really enjoyed each other and loved playing!
Saturday we hung out at the house. The dogs played and played and played!

Sunday was church day followed by Mexican for lunch and then home for the Super Bowl.

On Monday, TX Granny got to go to Matt's speech visit. He was a little ham and acted silly and showed off. He obviously does much much better without an audience! Then we did some more running around including checking out a couple pet stores and lunch at Toot's. Then as I leave for school at 7pm it started to snow. I got halfway to Mboro and it was solid white out side and I wasn't going over 30 mph on the 4 lane so i said to heck with it and turned around to go home and visit for mom's last night here.

Matthew spent the longest time playing in the bathroom sink and on the counter. He was having fun rolling his cars in the sink.
But then he got real quiet and I go into find this toothpaste mess!
The funniest thing was later Monday night after Jeff and Matt got done showering. Jeff was telling him to get out of the shower and he then proceeds to count to 3. He told him if he didn't get out by the time he got to 3 he would get a spanking. So he counts and Matt never moved so he got a little spanking. He comes out to tell me that "Dad goes 1 2 3 spanking". And he thought it was so cute so he kept counting 1... 2... 3... spanking.
We were up early Tuesday morning to get mom loaded up and on the road. They headed out about 6am to go pick up the macaws and head out. The 1st part of their trip was slow going with some snow and slick roads but soon the precipitation stopped and their trip was uneventful and they made it home about 9:30pm.
