Saturday was the day Jeff had been waiting for…. we headed to the bus stop early that morning
and found the line for animal kingdom!
“what you talking bout Willis?”
And we made it!
Once in the park we spotted the tree of life! Iconic Animal Kingdom for sure
and we took advantage of the moment for a family pic or 2 or 3
Matt got a picture of the map and dad and brother while we waited for the rope to drop
Then it was on to Africa for breakfast!
We ate at the Tusker house!
It was a yummy buffet set like an african village and building and better yet we got to meet some wonderful disney characters!!
We met Safari Donald Duck outside then it was Safari Mickey Mouse!

Matt even participated in the african music parade around the place

Breakfast is over and we are off!
First ride was the Safari ride!

After the safari we found some gorillas

We made our way to Dinoland
After Matt and dad rode a couple rides we left Silas with granny and pappy and us 3 went to ride Dinosaur!
It was a kind of scary dino ride back in time but was super fun!
Back to Aisa to explore some more

Matt and Dad went to ride the river raft ride and from where we hung out waiting we could peek through the brush and saw them getting on the raft
and they came back soaked and thrilled!
We had a fastpass from earlier so we went back for one last safari ride
hippos were out good this time
and the bull elephant even turned around for us
the male and female lions were both sunning
and some little passenger fell asleep!
A trip around the tree of life was really cool
And why not catch the parade before heading out!
We rushed off for dinner that night, back to Ohanas. It was super yummy again! Matthew fell asleep on way there and even slept thru dinner! Poor guy was wore out for sure!
