It was up super early Tuesday morning to catch a 7am bus to Magic Kingdom. We had breakfast reservations inside the park before the place even opened! How cool!
Sporting their new mickey shirts ready to go
The last thing Matthew wanted to do was take pictures. So please excuse his facial expressions!
i especially love the sour look and the thumbs up!
Oh wait is that a smile??
and of course he had to make sure to close his eyes
And these pictures of both boys are priceless. Matthew finally got a big huge grin only because Silas was crying! We cant win for nothing! LOL But I love that the boys could sit on the rode and are literally the only ones in front of the castle! It was ideal!
enough of the morning castle pics, time for breakfast at the Crystal Palace. It was a character breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and Friends
The best part is that you get your food (buffet style) and the characters come to your table for autographs and pictures! First was piglet! She gave Matt a hug and kiss and mom even got a kiss on the forehead!
Matt inline behind Piglet for a dance parade!
Now time for Winnie the Pooh himself!
And whose furry paw is that…
None other than Eeyore of course!
Time to explore Magic Kingdom!
Fun in Fantasyland was up next
On the Winnie the Pooh ride
time for the timeless classic … Its a small world!
The tea cups
Look who we saw outside the tea cups…. Alice and the White Rabbit
Adventureland here we come
Our 1st stop there was to eat a Dole Whip ice cream snack!
then to explore the Swiss Family Robison treehouse
And then to ride the Pirates of the Carribean ride!
We got to meet Pirate Goofy outside afterwards
Then on to the Jungle Cruise which was really neat and our jungle guide was quite funny in a dry humor kind of way!
In front of the waterfall
behind the waterfall!
The river boat with Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad in the background
Time for Haunted Mansion which Matt loved!
then it was a mickey ice cream sandwich while waiting for the parade
the boys had the best seats in the house!
The Magic Kingdom Parade which was so neat
The Barber shop quartet singing
and we headed to supper with two tired little boys
the monorail
granny and silas on the boat to the Polynisian resort for supper at Ohana
The Grand Floridian Resort
The sandy beach and volcano pool at the Polynisian
Supper at Ohana’s was fantastic! It was all you can eat that started with bread, salad, chicken wings, pork dumplings, noodles and broccoli then they proceeded to bring you roasted pork, chicken, steak and shrimp until you were full! For desert it was a fantastic bread pudding! We were most definitely full as a roasted pig leaving that night! We waddled our way to the monorail and back to Magic Kingdom then to the bus back to the resort! A very magical day indeed!
Oh and who can forget…. Happy Valentines Day!!
