An afternoon in Nashville

Granny had a great idea to go to Nashville to check out the LST 325 that was docked at River Front Park.  It is a moving museum of naval history.  So after church we loaded up and met Granny, Pappy, Bobby and Austin downtown for an afternoon adventure.
We werent sure how it would be downtown because there was a home Titans game that afternoon as well and that usually means lots of people and with people comes traffic!  But it wasnt too bad.  The game started before we got there and ended before we headed home!
Our first stop was Demo’s for lunch!
Love this picture of Pappy

LST 325.  This ship actually landed on the beach at Normandy.  What an amazing piece of history to get a chance to touch.  And she is still cruising on the rivers today!

See the stadium across the river.  When the crowd roared we could hear it!  It was so neat!
