And so it begins....VBS Week!

Monday kicked off VBS week!

I tried to get a picture of Matt in his shirt and this is what happens...

Jackpot is ready for his 1st time at VBS. He has no idea what he is in for in the coming years! LOL

So Saturday evening Jeff and I are sitting in the living room kicking around baby names and Matt shouts out "Let's name him Jackpot!! That's a great name for a baby!"

We got the biggest kick out of it!

Tball Party!

Saturday afternoon was our tball party! We had a picnic at the park that we played ball at. The kids loved playing ball on the hill behind the pavillion!

It was such a nice relaxing party. Was super hot but the kids didnt seem to mind at all! Yeah for a great season and fun times had by all!

A visit to the Fuson's! It has been a while since we have got together so we went to play! We swam and had a blast!






after some lunch and indoor play we went to visit the garden before the rain came in! The boys took the truck to haul back the goods!

I made it home from convention in time to go to Aunt Al's with my guys. There was a fencing party! Of course it started raining on our way over there and was still raining when we got there so we hung out on the porch for a bit until time to head up on the hill.

i enjoyed a couple hours of peace and quiet on the tail gate of Uncle J's truck while the adults fenced and the kids rode four-wheelers and went back down to the house. The weather was perfect after the rain cooled it off. Up on the hill sure is a gorgeous place to be!

BSP State Convention weekend!

My very 1st time at a BSP convention and it sure was a blast! We got there Friday evening just in time to hangout for a bit then get ready for the sock hop!

We danced the night away and did the hand jive more times than we could count. Sarah and I even got stuck in the line when it was time for the stroll. So what did we do, we strolled! LOL

Saturday morning we set up our ways and means table for a bit! Suzi had some necklaces to sale and her and Becky made these super cool wine bottle lamps!


Then it was lunch time with a summer beach theme


After some more downtime it was time for dinner and more dancing!


I even won a door prize! Its a really cool pie maker (think of the sandwich maker things and its like that but for mini pastries!)

Sunday breakfast had a southern gospel theme complete with a mens choir from a local church.


after food I was involved in the skit for the 2012 convention bid. here i am holding the flag to announce next years olympic themed state convention! what fun it shall be!

The big day!!

Friday afternoon was the big ultrasound day! Jeff was off work and I was so excited. Matt and Jeff both voted for boy and if they won they could pick where we ate lunch. I was still holding out hope for a girl.

The day before it was too funny cause I was talking to Matt about seeing the baby and maybe seeing if it was a boy or girl and he says "so if its a boy he will have a hat on?" Uhh no not exactly! LOL He said if it was a girl he would "send her back!".

So in we go to the dr. They see us right away (gotta love the first after lunch appt!) I told her we totally wanted to find out the sex of the baby!

So she gets to measuring everything she needed too and baby was moving all over the place. When we first peeked he was trying to get his fingers in his mouth. That was too cute. Before long she was near his legs and there was the shot. She asked if I knew what we were having. I said a boy! Jeff looked up from playing games on my phone with Matt in time to get a peek. Next thing we knew little man had his hand down there too! Typical boy!

So here is our new baby boy! Now the hard part will be naming him. We have some names we are kicking around but nothing settled yet.

Busy Thursday!

Thursday night was a busy one. We had already RSVP'd for a birthday party when we found out it was also the night of our 1st scheduled tball tournament game. So we played some ball and unfortunately lost the game and since it was single elimination it was our official last game. After the game the kids were given medals. How cool it was for them to do this!
