First off was demonstrating that they knew the pledge, motto and handshake.
Little brother kept himself occupied on moms phone!
Then it was ceremony time. They had to eat the tooth of the animal (marshmellows) and drink the blood (hawaiian punch)

Some of the boys got their marble belt loop also but that was a meeting we must have missed! whoops!
Then it was snack, craft time and little brother joined in for this part of course lol
They built campfires out of pretzels, marshmellows and candy corn
Then it was time to eat their creations!
The boys wanted to run off some energy to Ms Linda joined them while dad led a game of red light green light and simon says
As you can see, our scout group is super small. We were missing one of the regular kids too. But it has been fun and I hope this is something that Matt wants to continue as he learns more about it and all that scouts does have to offer. I think the next big thing will be derby cars and that sounds like a blast!
