He did so good at the dentist. They kept bragging on him. It was much different then our past visits. He layed down and opened wide with no fussing. He was so good. He even let them do xrays without any problems. We got great reports of no cavities and good looking teeth so all is well.
Thursday after school Matt and Dad made a cake.

Friday evening we had some excitement with a house fire behind us. We made sure the lady was out of the house, Jeff called 911, then we brought her dog over to our yard while we waited with her for the firemen to show up. I didn't want to be intrusive and go get my camera so I waited until the fire was out, and the guys were cleaning up and took a few shots from our yard.

i call this my "home improvement shot". remember the neighbor on home improvement that we never saw but he was always peering over the fence! wasn't his name Wilson?

you can see the charred eves and soot over the window in this picture.

I left not too long after the excitement to go meet with some friends for our book club! We laughed and enjoyed a great time! The book we had read for this time was called The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. It was a cute book. I really enjoyed it! We are now on to read The Great Train Robbery, The Great Gatsby and Prep to get us through the rest of the year (with a few movie nights thrown in there to help us grow culturally!)
Saturday morning we met Stephanie and Riley at the Discovery Center. We made the plan before I found out it was the Dr. Seuss celebration which was also free admission day and super crowded! But it was fun!
