then it was so nice out that we decided on a trip to the park. we picked up granny so she could get out and enjoy the sun as well.

then it was off to lunch (rice and cheese of course!) followed by a change of clothes and off to meet dad and go to swim lessons.

Once again Matthew about gave us a heart attack at swim lessons. He didn't accidentally slide off the side this time, he intentionally jumped! His instructor was a couple arm lengths away and he jumped out away from the edge so couldn't grab it to help pull himself up. Jeff jumped up and was at the edge of the pool about the time his instructor made it to him to pull him out of the water. We had to explain very clearly that he can only jump when someone is close to catch him just in case and that unless someone is watching him he must sit very still on the edge.
He has no fear of the water! Usually him and Henry sit real still on the edge while the 2 bigger kids goof off but since Henry wasn't there Matt decided to pay attention to the other 2. They jump in off the lower edge alot but the difference is that they can touch and Matt cant! Maybe he will realize that before too long!
Then we went to try Five Guys Burgers and Fries for supper and it was awesome! Best burger and fries anywhere! When we asked Matt what he wanted to eat his reply was rice and cheese. Then he got huffy, crossed his arms on his chest and told us that "it's not fair" and that "you no listen to me" because we weren't going to eat what he wanted! He was being quite the character that's for sure!
