adventure science center

Jeff was off on Saturday so we headed to Nashville. A week or so ago I had got a super deal on Groupon for a family membership to the Adventure Science Center for half price! Just one visit for our family of 3 would have cost what the entire year membership did so we figured why not. So we needed to activate our membership before the end of May so we took advantage of Jeff having the day off.

It was our 1st visit there so we really didnt know what to expect

train in the toddler area

lifting a car

making some music

checking out the dinos. he is standing in the bubble in the middle but wasnt tall enough to see out the top so all we see are his feet!

me as a paleontologist!

going into the brain

the heart

sliding

making his way through the small intestine and learning about poop

churning the stomach

pinball through the intestines

circulatory system water table

the medical area was neat.

listening to some lungs

too funny

the view from the very top of the climbing tower

making his way down

balancing a ball on the blower

making water tornados

building in the toddler area.

at this point in the day, my camera battery died! I had charged by big camera batteries the night before but forgot to charge the little camera! go figure! so we did some more exploring in the area about space. super cool! then we went to the planetarium to see a show about the planets and a mini preview of the summers laser shows that they offer!

a snap with the cell phone before the show started!

After a fun filled day we headed to Chuy's for lunch. It was super yummy and definitely tex-mex which is hard to find here in TN. I will totally be going back!
