We left moms and made our way to Dallas. Of all things to see, we got behind a truck with a cage and pig head tied on top. It was hilarious. But when we slowed down to get on the highway entrance ramp, a dog pops his head up to see where they were! It was just too priceless to not take a picture of!

the book depository from the knoll

it was at this point that we were hanging out. there are guys set up selling their own books and magazines with their own conspiracy theories and telling tales to anyone that will stand around and listen. We were standing at the top area of the knoll and that is where it happened... my lovely innocent 3 yr old dropped his pants and started to pee! OMG! Right there in the middle of all the tourists on the historic grassy knoll! I was too shocked to take of picture of him in mid-stream so we just kind of all looked away and tried to circle around him so that he wasn't as noticeable. This is the downfall to allowing your child to pee outside... he thinks he can do it anywhere! After he was done, I walked down the slope a bit and took a picture. Here is where we all were standing while he decided to water the grass!

and the view looking toward the street after the incident showing the people milling around!

we went into the Sixth Floor Museum while there also. It is a museum of the book depository. A very fascinating place to visit. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take pictures or really even use cell phones while in there. I didnt listen to well and snapped a couple pics trying to be sneaky with my cell phone.
One of the information boards showing the grassy knoll, the are we just stood, right after the shooting.

After dinner we made our way across town and headed to Uncle Johns on the way back. And on the drive we passed the spot where Texas Stadium used to sit. What a shock to see it as a huge pile of rubble.

When we got to John's, Wendy jumped in the pool with the boys! What started as getting their feet wet turned into full on swimming!

Mom and John

Matt really enjoyed swimming! Thank goodness for dry clothes in the trunk or he would have had to ride home naked!
