Then we went to Great Gran's for a visit. They played some Basketball which was quite funny!

the ice cream scoop. its so funny cause this thing has been a staple at gran's for many years! it was the 1st thing i noticed when i walked in the kitchen. she said that John comments on it every time he comes up also. its kind of funny what things stick in your memory from childhood.
After visiting for a bit we took gran with us and went to the store then to work at the apartments. we had a pizza picnic in the office while taking a break from the work!
Then it was time to take gran home, mom and I went to a nutrition class and Jodie took Grayson and Matthew back home.
On Tuesday mom had an appointment that morning so Matt, Grayson and I stayed at the house until she was done. Matthew had to do some homework.

Then he spent some time talking to the birds. He also used his pencil and pretended it was a gun and was shooting the birds. he would ask then "do you wanna be shooted?" then bang bang and they were done!
after TX Granny got back we went to the movies! We saw Shrek but Matt wanted to take a picture by the Toy Story display so I grabbed my phone! He is loving Buzz Lightyear!
After the movie we made a stop by the falls.

Wednesday was mom's actual birthday. She had another morning appointment so we spent more time doing homework and getting ready for the day. I had one more birthday surprise up my sleeve for the day.

he was ticked off about not getting to play. grayson likes to play one player games and always wanted matt to watch him. This didnt go over too well!

After Judy left we went to the apartments to finish up some work. Matt loved watching the fighter jets making their laps above the apartments. '
If you look close you can see the jet towards the top of the picture and matthew at the bottom. I tried my best to get them both in one picture and this was the best it got!

after all our hard work it was time for some yogurt. they have a couple places that have self serve soft serve yogurt in 16 different flavors. what you do is get a cup, fill it with any kind of yogurt you want, even mix kinds, then you can add any toppings you want. They have candies and fruits and all kinds of stuff. Then you weigh your cup and pay by the ounce. It was so neat and very good!
Thursday was a quick trip to town. Lunch at a mexican food buffet where Matt loved the fountain. Especially throwing in some pennies!

Our trip home started early. I got to see a great sunrise and even managed to snap a quick picture of it.
We saw tons more crop dusters flying low over the highway in Arkansas.
