After the busy full day we picked dad up in town and headed to Nashville. It was time for a Tuesday night at the Opry. A special ACM Showcase show hosted by Luke Bryan!
The first performer was Eric Church! Wow he sure can rock it!
Then it was the JaneDear girls
Randy Houser brought down the house!
A funny thing happened during Randy Houser’s last song. He did a solo song just him and the guitar. The place was silent and Matt asks “why is he by himself mom?” and he wasnt too quiet about it!! Then towards the end of the song, it is so quiet in there as everyone listens to this awesome song and Matt says “I like the loud songs mom not the quiet ones!” The people next to us sure got a chuckle! Hope that part doesnt make it to the television show they were filming for!

After intermission it was kicked off by Steel Magnolia! Love them!
Then the cutie, Easton Corbin
And finally The Band Perry
Then Luke Bryan came to sing an impromptu song with a special guest who showed up, Hillary from Lady Antebellum!! They sang Do I! She does the background vocals on that song for him! How cool!
Then he sang his latest song!
He actually sang the last song twice! Seems they had some issue and needed to redo it for filming sake! Gotta love TV!
Matt fell asleep during Easton Corbin and was out the rest of the night.
What a fun night and some great young stars! Cant wait to see who brings home the ACM’s!
