Saturday evening we took Matthew over to stay with Granny and Pappy and we headed to Nashville!
We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel!
We were on the very top floor! It is also a secured floor so you have to use your key in the elevator to even push the button for the floor! How cool! Of course when the lady told us this we werent really listening so we did spend like 5 minutes in the elevator with the doors closed and it not going any where before it dawned on us!! LOL

We went out and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. Then we walked up and down Broadway watching people and just enjoying the evening!

When we got in the car Jeff showed me his shoe. It had broke the night before when walking around. Sure enough he was missing a big chunk! Looks like some new ones is in order! hahaha
We stopped by the Parthenon since was just down the road. Jeff said he had never been to see it!
Then we made it in time for lunch with Matthew, Granny and Pappy at mexican! Jeff got the special birthday singing and sombrero!
After lunch it was a full day spent outdoors. Jeff played on the tractor leveling gravel, Matt spent most of the day in a pile of dirt and I successfully removed every window and screen and cleaned them and then put them back! Whew!
Before bed we sang to dad and cut into the yummy Reese’s ice cream cake that he had picked out!
A fantastic night out followed by a nice day getting some things accomplished! Happy Birthday Babe! We love you!
