another dr update

well today was our weekly friday dr appointment! Jeff was off work but he stayed home to get the yard work done and other stuff to prep for Matthew's birthday party which is tomorrow! So Matt and I went to the dr. He had to come with me cause dad was gonna be mowing and he also needed a hair cut!

This was actually the only appointment I have been concerned. You see, contractions have been a little more the past day or so and while part of me wanted to get checked to see if they are doing anything, the other part of me didnt want to know at all because we got to get through this party! If Silas wants to come early that will be fine but it has to be after 4pm tomorrow! LOL

So we get all the regular measurements and all look good like weight gain and my blood pressure. Belly is measuring great and his heartbeat was 143. I got checked and seems that so far these contractions are just annoying, not making any progress so that is good. I also got another blood draw to check iron levels. Dr H is confident that we will make our next appointment and will deliver on schedule. But he did say to take it slow and spend some time resting next week cause little man can always come early!

Matthew was in rare form listening to the ipod and his favorite song, Beer on the Table, and dancing around the office! Was too funny!

So we made our final dr appointment for next friday! If all goes as planned then we will be holding Jackpot in our arms in 12 days!

Matthew got his haircut and we did more party prep this evening now time for bed so we can get decorating in the morning! And one thing that Matt doesnt know yet, TX Granny, Gran and Grayson are on their way for his party! They are hoping to make it to surprise him at soccer but if not they will surprise him at the house!
